T.J. Houshmandzadeh's apparent exit raises questions about the status of Chad Ocho Cinco, whose trade value has fallen significantly in the past year. By trading him, the Bengals could make a clean break from the diva-receiver years, if they are so inclined. Coach Marvin Lewis downplayed the idea. Asked whether he could envision going into next season without Houshmandzadeh and Ocho Cinco, he said, "I don't think such a scenario exists." Regardless, it's looking more and more like the Bengals dropped the ball last spring when they turned down Washington's offer of a 2008 first-round pick and a conditional 2009 pick (potentially another first-rounder) for Ocho Cinco. -- Columbus Dispatch
