Did you hear about the text message he sent Ed Werder? Just paraphrasing what I heard on the radio this morning, Favre sent a text to Ed Werder telling Werder what Favre told the Packers GM, which was basically this:

"It has been and still is my intention to play in the NFC North, so if I can't play with you, let me play against you."

I don't think he wants to play in Soldier Field and he wont play for Detriot. And my Minnesota High School math tells me that leaves only one team.

Granted it was a MN sports talk radio station, so the guys on the show definately have purple shaded glasses on while looking into this stuff.

It would be so weird though, to have Favre playing in purple. I think I could get used to the idea, though...

It's sounding like the Vikes could potentially be in the mix, but I really would be shocked if the Pack let him go to a rival.

I don't think I could ever get used to seeing him in a Vikings uniform.

Well, they don't want him back... I think that the Vikes have been very much in the picture ever since they have told him that. It's a very sticky situation because Brett Favre knows what kind of influence he has. He is calling the Packer's bluff. He knows they can't possibly have Brett freakin' Favre sitting on the bench behind Aaron Rodgers. there would be mutiny in GB

But also, it's really unfair to the Packers to have to change their entire plans for the season just because this guy can't make up his mind, it's the same thing every year and that isn't fair to them. I can understand why they are saying they don't want him back and they have commited to Aaron Rodgers, at some point you just have to say "enough is enough" and move on...
