Pretty sure that adding Marco Scutaro isn't going to shift the balance of power in the league.

My thoughts exactly. :thumbright:

Somewhere Marco Scutaro is sobbing quietly because of your insensitivity.

He can wipe his tears with his 6 million dollars he's making this year.

Wow. If Marco Scutaro making $6 million dollars a year isnt a sign of the impending apocalypse then I don't know what is.

I think Snooki having a baby already triggered said apocalypse.

Rickie Weeks is still on the block, looking for a SP or someone with OF and 1B eligibility.

Swarm gives:
Mike Morse 1B WAS

Allegheny gives:
Dan Hudson SP AZ

Rotoworld report this morning... "While not a blockbuster deal, it will prove to be mutually beneficial to both teams".

Yeah, I think Hudson finishes top 20 SP this year, maybe better than Kennedy, so I think it's pretty equal for both sides. Morse scares me, because I don't think he hits .303 again, and a lot of that belief has to do with that not-so-pretty strikeout rate. However, I don't see his average completely falling off a cliff, so I still think he's good for a 25/80 season. A good CI bat for Steve.

Long term view - I'd much rather have Hudson.

Short term view as it relates to reclaiming the title this year, Morse's HR production is needed. His batting average doesn't concern me - my team finished 4th in avg last year and the corps group is back so I can absorb any average dip from Morse. I finished 11th in HR's last year and that's the area that needed addressed if I want to be singing "We Are The Champions" come September.

Well, you're investment in the hometown 3B could help you if he ever decides to pull his head out of hiss a$$ and learn how to hit an off-speed pitch.

It will be a sad commentary on his fatness when Casey McGahee ends up having more fantasy value than Pedro does this year.

Trade Processed. Both players are a bit underrated.

Yeah it was painful to give up Morse, but I learned last year that you cannot beat the big boys in this league if you are punting wins and K's every week because of subpar pitching. I like my rotation a lot more now

Greinke, Bumgarner, Hudson, Pineda, Morrow, E Jackson

8)

Hopefully Aaron Hill does what I think he can do this year and replaces a good chunk of what Morse brought me last year in that UTIL spot.

Still looking to move Rickie Weeks if anyone is looking to upgrade at 2B, would package him with Pineda or Morrow for a stud SP or a stud OF.

Spin: Brown is dealing with a stiff neck that may have been caused by his napping on a team bus during a road trip. The injury appears to be minor.
