No.

I don't have any problems with betting on Beachy to be at least as good as Lester the rest of the way. In fact, I think he'll be a little better.
Tossing in a resurgent Beltran to NOT get better at SP is a terrible idea.

I still wouldn't make that move.

The difference between Garza and Lester this year hasn't been big, and it's mostly based on W's. The potential upgrade to your pitching staff over the next two months isn't as big as the downgrade to your offense if you take Beltran out of the lineup.

You'd need an ERA and WHIP under 2 and 1, respectively, the rest of the way from Lester, with the same K and win rates, to really come out ahead here.

You've got a good pitching staff and I just don't think there's enough of a difference in the pitchers involved to make me want to depend on Joyce or Soriano in the OF the rest of the way.

My issue is that I have 3 on the DL and will need to drop a few players and I am not sure who I am going to drop I want to make a 2-1 deal. I do not want to trade Beltran - with him possibly going to the Pirates could jump start him even more.

Would Garza and Beachy be too much. Hard10 I know that you like Beachy a lot. What are some other options that you see?
