12 Team, H2H, 5x5 w/ OBP (not winner take all stats), 10 Keepers, No Limits

C: Wieters
1B: Hosmer
2B: Utley
3B: Wright
SS:
MI:
CI: Youkilis
3 OF: Stanton, Trout, Jennings
DH: Choo
Bench: Markakis

4 SP: Haren, Scherzer, Zimmermann, Pineda
2 RP:
Bench: Marcum

I've already cut a fair amount of the dead weight. I inherited this team last year. Didn't perform too well with injuries accounting for some of that and my stockpiling young talent in the draft. OBP league, so it's throwing off my thinking a bit. Feeling like Hosmer, Utley, Wright, Stanton, Jennings, Haren are no brainers. Not sure who the other 4 should be. Suggestions?

Zimmermann, Wieters, Marcum, Youkiliis

And I'd seriously consider Choo over either Jennings or Utley

You'd seriously consider it, but would you do it if push came to shove? Utley cut over Wieters or a pitcher, because of diminishing production and health concerns?

Marcum over Pineda/Scherzer, because of AL vs. NL splits?

Marcum over Pineda and Scherzer because he's a better pitcher than either. Both are capable of more K's, and probably a couple more wins, but I'd bet on him to post the best ratios of the three, and he won't be far behind in strikeouts.

As for Choo, yeah, I think I would take him over Jennings and Utley. Jennings has talent, but I don't like his chances of being a star this year. He started hot last season and finished cold. I think he's going to need some time to adjust and he'll have some awful cold streaks. I don't think his production matches his hype this year.
Utley, eh. We've seen his average and slugging percentage decline for 4 straight years. Simply put, he's not an elite 2B any more. Yes, he's still a top 10 guy, but I don't think he has that top 2/3 ability any more. I'd certainly draft him again (depending on who else is available), but I wouldn't be afraid to let him go or be upset if I couldn't get him back.
