I also want to talk about the draft date for both leagues. I was thinking either the 21st or 28th of August. I don't imagine the draft will last more than a week, so either date would give ample time to get done. Let me know which of those you prefer. If I don't hear much feedback, I'll just go with the 21st just in case we hit a road bump during the draft.

All of those options are fine with me, in order of preference (1,2,3) three would be my favorite if you cut out season point leader and split it 50/100 on 1st/2nd.

Either date is fine, I prefer the later one considering the first would fall during preseason week 2.

So I've got one vote for option 1 and one vote for a modified option 3. Two votes for August 28th, although I know RockinT will be out of town on the 28th and would prefer an earlier draft. I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to the 14th as a start date, but I'd prefer waiting until at least the 21st. I know I'll be predrafting half my picks anyway since I'll be gone the weekend of the 28th and the weekend of Sept. 4th.

Thank you guys for letting me join your league .. And yes I will be out of town the 28th. So my vote would be 14th or 21st. Doesn't really matter to me on payout.

If it doesn't make a difference, please send the check to avoid the PayPal fees. Not a big deal either way. Please try to pay before the draft, but the firm deadline will be before kickoff week 1.

Everyone should have received an invite to the league site by now. If you didn't get it, let me know and I'll send another. Also, look for an invite to the draft site (MFL) in the next couple days. I'll randomize the draft order and set up the draft site for the 3RR format. Let me know if you have questions!

It will be on MFL. The only difference would be that the clock is set to 12 hours per pick instead of a minute or whatever. That way people can get on whenever they get a chance to make their picks. HOWEVER, it is highly undesirable if people take 12 hours to make their pick. There is a feature called predrafting where you can input players in order a round or two ahead so that it picks automatically when you are away. Using predrafting, most people have average pick times of under an hour. A couple people are slow and average about 2 hours per pick or so. The draft in total will take about a week and a half or so. This way it's a lot easier than getting everyone together for a live draft. That was probably a too confusing explanation, but it will make sense when we get going.
I'll probably randomize it tomorrow and have the results sent to everyone automatically. I want as many people logged in as possible.

You should all have received an e-mail directly from fftoolbox. Remember... if you are at the end of the draft, you are in a good spot due to the 3RR draft, so don't get discouraged (honestly, I prefer to be at the end in this format). Invites to the MFL draft site should go out late tonight or tomorrow.

I will get the free league randomized and set up as soon as it is full. Right now we have 10 (if we include the 2 potential volunteers from the $$$ league), so we could just go with 10 or wait a little while to see if we can find two more.
