Don't need Brooklyn's vote, Pensacola's pushed it over the edge. A players tag eligibility resets once he changes teams. Now, the problem, I haven't the slightest clue how to retroactively apply this to previous years. I can do it for this year, but that's it. Suggestions and volunteers?

Case by case, burden is on the owner to document for each player they want to tag.

Probably the most reasonable solution, kinda sucks for the new guys but it's the only method that makes sense. If anyone (new guys especially) have questions about their players eligibility please post, I'm sure we can figure it out. Rather than waiting until next off season please do this now. If you have guys that are on the list in post #1 that should be removed due to the rule clarification please post by Aug 31, otherwise they stay on the list. I will take care of current year guys.

Yeah, basically everyone should look at the transition list and see their players listed. Then go back our ask whether the player was won from another team. Then declare them to be eligible.

I don't need to as I have never won a transition player. But Daniels was, Steve Johnson damn Carolina, and others were.

So, you a player could essentially be eligible for 12 different 5 year extensions, transition tags, and franchise tags each under this new rule? (All theoretical, btw)

Not extensions, only applicable for franchise and transition tags. Once a player is extended if they're still rostered after 5 years they're UFA's. Of which we finally have some emerging next year! \:D/

Nope, UFA come 2014. Salary cap budgeters rejoice! I have Witten, Cole, and Welker documented for next year. More will come in years after because the first year we only did 1 extension and most stars were given multi year contracts in the inaugrual auction.

Sorry about the no-vote. I think Lundy and I got our wires crossed on this one as I assumed, without talking to him first, that he'd take care of it. My bad. Won't happen again.

Best to all!

He may get a chance to do something this year considering Marshawn Lynch is a friggin' idiot. :F It's bad enough he was driving drunk, and may possible lose his contract and guaranteed money, but what the hell was he doing driving a Ford Econoline van. Is that the new cool ride? Am I that out of it?

Announcement for the buy low hungry in this league (I know, most of you) - I'm willing to part with Dez in a package featuing a comparable redraft WR.

A lot of you have asked about him before and been quickly shot down, but I don't know who is still interested given his latest issues. Anyway, shoot me offers or just let me know if you're interested, preferably email and if you don't have it shoot me a pm and I'll give it to you.
