Case by case, burden is on the owner to document for each player they want to tag.
Probably the most reasonable solution, kinda sucks for the new guys but it's the only method that makes sense. If anyone (new guys especially) have questions about their players eligibility please post, I'm sure we can figure it out. Rather than waiting until next off season please do this now. If you have guys that are on the list in post #1 that should be removed due to the rule clarification please post by Aug 31, otherwise they stay on the list. I will take care of current year guys.
Yeah, basically everyone should look at the transition list and see their players listed. Then go back our ask whether the player was won from another team. Then declare them to be eligible.
I don't need to as I have never won a transition player. But Daniels was, Steve Johnson damn Carolina, and others were.
