Yo. Checking in Commish!

Anything else...Is there any interest in switching to MFL? I'd be willing to kick in my share.

you can trim them at any time you want, however, you cannot add players until the draft, and the deadline for roster size requirements is two weeks before the draft.

It would be wise to just hold on to everyone until after the NFL draft and FA to determine what would be best for your roster.

Our draft will be held either before the preseason or after the preseason, depending on how everyone votes.

Sounds fantastic. Nice work on creating a thread and listing the tasks at hand.

I am for having the draft after the 3rd preseason game. Close enough to the season to allow for plenty of time in case for some reason our draft takes longer than 1 week to complete.

1) PM just sent.

2) 18/24/1

3) I vote for April/May, after the NFL draft - this is a dynasty leage after all. If that's not an option under consdieration then July works, but I remember having a hell of a time getting everyone together in July for our first draft. I'd rather not do a dynasty draft in September when all our regular league drafts are going down.

Here's a list of the sharks that have voted on the replacement owner:

JP
PhillySmackDown
Bandito
BlueBeards
poitead
BFG

.....c'mon fellas, the sooner we can get the other owner in, the sooner we can get the other issues resolved.

Assassin: what's up with your boy APigskin? He visits the Tank about as much as Charles Manson visited church. Does he even want to stay?

Agenda: what's up? I see ya posting everywhere else in the Tank. Did you get my PMs?

I know everyone might be burnt out on FFL and next season is still a long ways away, but still.........seeing everyone posting everywhere else and not getting down with their community leagues is just disturbing.......

He told me that if there are people who want to take his team then he is cool with that. He feels bad about his level of commitment this year. I have a feeling that next year will be just as bad.

You might want to use the top 2 vote getters in the replacement poll and replace him as well.

Good work here Jay. 18/24/1 on rosters sounds good to me. I also like Bandito's idea on the draft date. Also sent PM for replacement.

I'm cool with that. I'd rather have active owners in the league than inactive owners anyways.

tell him thanks for the contribution anyways, and good luck next year.

fellas -- sorry to bug ya again, but it looks like we will be replacing three owners this offseason.

If you have already submitted your vote, I apologize.....but can you all please resubmit a PM with the three sharks you would prefer?

Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience.

patience... a lot of us don't think about next year until after this one is over... About the time the NFL Draft is done is when I'll start thinking about the rookie draft...

and what happened to JimHart? I don't see his name on the list of canidates... I know he threw his hat in the ring...

He said he wanted to withdraw his name due to his commissioner responsibilities in the Deep Black Dynasty league.....but, then again.....that was only when there was one spot available.......

I'll hit him up with a PM and see if he's still interested.

For the OP spot I think we should keep it this year and not the following year. The people who did plan more for it should be rewarded and I don't think there were many people who dominated the league because of it.

For the draft, whenever is fine. Obviously it would be nice to do it after/during preseason games. That would even open up the possibility of finding someone like Colston!

once we get the final owners voted on, we can start discussing the OP dilemma. I've been crunching some serious stats the past few days, and I have quite an argument for those that oppose it and those that favor it.......

:D

....stay tuned!
