A common perception is that Jason Taylor is a prime candidate to be traded. He is an elite player whom the Dolphins might move to accumulate more draft picks and build for the future. Taylor, 33, has two seasons left on his contract at base salaries of $7.5 million next year and $8 million in 2009. Bill Parcells, the new executive vice president of football operations, indicated Monday night on ESPN that he would be reluctant to trade Taylor, a six-time Pro Bowler and Miami's all-time sacks leader. But Parcells also has stated that he is in the early stages of evaluating a 1-14 team. ,,, All 11 of Taylor's seasons have been with Miami. Although he would like to finish his career having worn only one uniform, he knows it's not always possible. "As the years go on, would you like to finish your career with one team? Yeah," Taylor said. "Everybody says that, but very few people get to do it. -- Palm Beach Post
