I am starting a new fantasy basketball league this fall. It will be a redraft league. No salary cap and no keepers, at least for now.

Anyone have good ideas or insight on how I should create the league, scoring structure, payouts, etc. Thanks. Any help would be appreciated.

I am really looking for insight on how to manage the schedule, playoffs, etc. We probably will have 10 or 12 teams. I was thinking that the playoffs would last 2 weeks for each round.

My scoring catergories are:

Blocks 1 for 1
Points .50 for 1
Rebounds 1 for 1
Assists 1 for 1
Steals 1 for 1
Turnovers -1 for 1

As I have not been in a fantasy basketball league since the turn on the century I was looking to the tank for some insight/help. Thanks in advance.

Fleaflicker also doing basketball now. Haven't used it but I'm sure there are some standard defaults already set up that you could start with.
