Congratulations to the Dirty Birds for winning the championship and $175 last year! Also, congrats to Xman for a great year and 2nd place finish!
This league will be the same as last year, in many respects. The scoring/rules will be the same. I would like everyone to let me know whether they will be interested in doing it with $50 buy-in money league or no money. I know last year it was about an even split. If we do a money league, I would like everyone to buy-in so that we can have a larger pool with weekly prizes, and more playoff payouts. Those details will be ironed out once I get a clearer idea of who is in the league and how much money is in the pot. To be honest, I would be totally fine with having no money involved. I feel less guilty when I whoop up on everyone that way...

Draft: 18 round, third round reversal draft (only the 3rd round is flip-flopped, the rest of the rounds remain the same).

Roster: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, RB/WR/TE, K, DST, 8 Bench.

Money details from 09 (2010 details will be determined later):
$50 optional payment. The league champion will receive half the pot and the regular season points leader will receive half. If they are the same team, then they get it all. If the winner or points leader did not put money into the pot, the runner-ups will get the money, etc. If there happens to be an unlikely tie, the head-to-head winner will get that portion of the pot, followed by regular season winning percentage.

Money is optional. You pay for a chance at the pot. A paid owner who has the best record wins the pot.

Kind of. Last year we split the pot between the best regular season record and the league champion. I won the regular season record, but did not win the championship. We may do that again this year, but it depends on how many people do the money and if someone has a suggestion on another format (i.e. 25% to regular season points leader, 25% to runner-up and 50% to champion).
In any case, if you want in BP, that would be great. That would actually fill the vacancies that we have. Still waiting to hear back from runvus and Super Fan to claim their spots. I'm giving them a couple more weeks.
