got an email from dave today, in all honesty....just wanted to make sure...i dropped out of this league right?

changes we are looking at making for upcoming season.


1) go from 4 pts to 6 pts for pass td's (this will include not only QB's but also RB,WR and TE as that is how the scoring system is set up)
2) allow waivers during playoffs
3) go to this 13 week schedule "Play all 3 teams in your division three times and 4 teams outside your division once", this should help eliminate h2h ties for playoffs.
4) go to weekly reset of waiver order (based on this sort criteria)
Waiver Wire Sort Criteria #1: Overall Winning Percentage
Waiver Wire Sort Criteria #2: Head-To-Head Record
Waiver Wire Sort Criteria #3: Total Points Scored
Waiver Wire Sort Criteria #4: Divisional Winning Percentage
Waiver Wire Sort Criteria #5: Reverse Order Of Opponent Total Points Scored
Waiver Wire Sort Criteria #6: Power Rank

Now if you disagree with the sort order or have a suggestion to improve it let me know, i just want it to be fair.

Also no change to starting lineup setting (no 2nd QB)

No change in trade settings, still can only trade picks for upcoming season and trades must be balanced (4 keepers and 14 picks).

Trades will still be by commish review and be process according to league rules

Well that is all i can think of off the top of my head, if you can think of something i missed or have a suggestion please post it so we can discuss it more.

I don't remember, did you? If so i'll get a replacement for you asap. Shouldn't be too hard as you have a couple decent keepers.

Maybe I'll take his team and dump mine

I remember BP beyotching about how bad a year he was having, but don't recall him saying he was dropping out. That team has some good keepers, so should not be too hard to find a replacement.

Are we staying at $35, or moving it up to $50? I am good either way.

hmmmmmm, maybe i need to reconsider...i told myself (as many do every year) that i would cut back on a few leagues....but if we are changing some rules, maybe i need to look at it more.

do we have a draft date set yet? keeper deadline?

I would like to start the draft Aug 21st or 22nd (2 solid weeks of drafting), with keepers declared 4 days before draft and trading complete 1 week before draft
