Rut-roh. Bad news for the Celtics. Perkins is out for game 7, and I really don't see them winning without that big body taking up space in there. Not really a scorer, but a good rebounder and a firey attitude.

Oh well...thats the breaks I guess.

Didn't the Celtics had their breaks in 08 against the Lakers without Trevor Ariza & Andrew Bynum?

And not to mention, Bynum is been playing with one leg this whole series.

Celtics bench is way too deep, they will have bigs out there who are better offensively (Rasheed & Davis), but they do lose on defense, a big body to clear space for rebounds and control of the paint. Rebounding has proven to be a determining factor in this series.

Boston will come out to play, but I don't believe they have enough (even with Perkins) to beat LA, on the road.

Yeah that sucks. . .of course that douchebag Kobe was the one who pushed him from behind while he was in the air causing him to land awkwardly on it.

U mad?!?!?!

Kobe basically been raping every Celtics in this series. Period.

Not mad. . .actually don't really like either team. But I really don't like Kobe, even though he is nasty.

Still looks like so far in game 7 all Kobe is raping is his FG %

Lakers battled tough in that one and really turned up the defense. Celtics ran out of gas.

Credit to my boy Sashapova (He dates Maria Sharapova, lucky bastard!) with the 2 clutch FT's at the end to seal it.

The Lakers' 83-79 win Thursday night on ABC earned an 18.2 overnight rating. That's the highest for an NBA game since Michael Jordan won his last championship with the Bulls in Game 6 of the 1998 Finals against the Jazz, which posted a 22.9.

NBA got exactly what they wanted... and so did the Lakers fans. :D

Everybody is happy...

...well, almost everybody lol. :D

Come on now, give credit where credit is due.

True, Sasha made those 2 clutch FT's at the end to give us some breath room.

But Ron Ron was the MVP of Game 7, he kept the Lakers in the game and made a key three-pointer at the end, and that was huge for us. Just a side note for those of you who think Trevor Ariza is better than Ron Ron, Paul Pierce dominated Trevor Ariza in 08, because Pierce is too big for Trevor. But Ron Ron never let him get to those spots that he did in '08. Pierce had that one game in Boston, and that was it. Ron Ron matched his physical play. 'Nuff said.

D-Fish is just being D-Fish, who always hit big shots after big shots. He made a three-pointer pulling the Lakers into a 64-64 tie.

Agreed. Like I said in the other post, rebounding has proven to be a determining factor in this series.

Ron Ron had one decent game in the play offs and I will give you the 7th game was that game..he was slow and couldn't defend anyone much of the series...he couldn't get back on defense and he had trouble handling the ball and couldn't shoot worth a damn..I think it was more of Pierce's bad play than it was Artest's brilliant play..Ariza was much better long term for the Lakers..
