10 Teams

Points league: 1 for 1b, 2 for 2b etc. (no negative points for hitters)

Pitching is heavily weighted: saves 7.5, wins 10, shutouts 5, CG 5 among other things.

Start 6 SP and 1 RP and 1 player at each position and 1 DH (dh can be any positional player)

Looks pretty good, may want to consider trying to grab a reliever like League or Rauch that might be one waivers to get you some saves early on, problem is you only have 1 slot for a reliever. Webb will start season on DL most likely, so there may be an open spot on your roster.

I'm not sold on Starlin Castro, so you may want to watch the FA SS pool.

All I know is when I entered the draft room the first 2 rounds were done and it said I picked lincecum - I was still crossing off players on my cheat sheet and didn't even know how to draft a player yet. Not my fault the commish pulled a noob move.

That must have been a "freudian slip" of sorts, not including soto. Since he's gonna be relatively worthless anyways. I think you were ashamed to mention him!

To be honest I don't even know who he is. He was the next one on the list on the shark ratings

I just looked at their rankings for the first time. He seems to be overrated, for what its worth. He's a guy where we've seen what he can do and its nothing special. In fact, in a previous year I had gone without a catcher, rather than roster him. I would prefer a guy with more upside like a Santana, Montero, or Wieters. One of them might still be on your waiver wire if you're lucky.

You drafted a pretty sharp team for not knowing what you're doing. If you stay active throughout the year I like your chances.

Our waivers are open now but those 3 you listed were drafted.

I tried to use the advice given from the likes of yoda and oar and tha1000 among others - tier system, pitching is deep, etc. Obviously I know the big names, but I honestly have no clue which teams in our league look strong and who doesn't.

Your team is fine. All teams look fine right now until they actually hit the field. Then...we will see?

"To change your team name, go to "My Team > Roster" and select "Manage My Team Settings & Alerts." On this page you will see a text box that will allow you to edit your team name.

From here, you will also notice at the top of the page that there are toggles for you to manage your fantasy "Alerts" and change your "Team Logo."

If you are unable to edit your team name from the "Manage My Team Settings & Alerts" page, then that means your commissioner has NOT permitted your team or the league to have that ability. If you are a commissioner and would like to know how to grant that permission."
