We come here for the banter and shark-shark advice, and the extremely nifty Targets Report tool.

Sharks was one of the worst sites last year.

I wouldn't consider 15 out of 50 "worst".

you cant rely on anyone but yourself....i take a look at the projections but nobody really knows whats going to happen until they play the game....I often will take into consideration if a great player had a bad wk the wk b4(like brady for example) that they are prolly going to come back the following wk and blow up...

I'll give you that, and honestly that study is pretty bad. BrunoBoys is a pretty crappy prediction site. They spread their predictions by 1 point, and are super-conservative.

I do trust fantasysharks to an extent.

I didn't make this topic to tell someone what to go by or anything like that - just couldn't resist the temptation to poke fun at some of the stuff I had read during my lunch break.

Some of the stuff is just funny; might as well enjoy it lol.

Probably the same logic that lands him and Shonn Greene on the no cut list in yahoo leagues lol. Amazing how much value is in a name eh? :)

I believe that the projections are done by several people. Work is split up by division so sometimes you will have two different writers projecting opposing teams in a game. I'm sure there are conflicting statements sometimes as a result.

I guess that's why Tebow is going to throw 1 interception this week and the Lions defense is going to get 3 interceptions.

Orton's throwing two from the bench...

Speaking of projections, you know what I never noticed/paid attention to before? Yahoo projections for kickers. We use decimal scoring for yardage but FG's are worth 3/4/5 and hansens projected for 8.81..... What?

Looks what J.C. did with bread & fish. It would not be out of place for Tebow to make 3 INTs out of 1.

I use 5-6 different sites and average the projections. It's usually pretty obvious who you should start, but sometimes it can help with the last one or two decisions. If it's close, make a gut call and live with it.
