Can any NE homers tell me what the former genius Belichick is up to? They continue to release/cut players in the secondary, while Dowling is headed to the IR list. I realize they have the worst ranked pass defense in the league, but that doesn't mean they can't get worse. Are they going to throw their hats into the "Suck for Luck" contest?

I thought for sure when they cut Bodden that Ras-I would be good to go at least if not this week then the next.

Something tells me there was an issue with Bodden beyond being sub-par on the field.

Seems like this belongs in the NE Team forum.

Probably right- although if you are on the fence on a Pitts WR or TE- well, this might help. Ha. I just snagged Sanders and am starting him over Manningham.

FYI- another Pats Safety Josh Barrett- is out.

Just a joke.

If it's worthy of discussion and more than 3 people have any interest in it, it should be here.

As for start/sit decisions, Wallace and Brown were already good starts and still are. I'd continue to ignore Miller, though. NE has been good at limiting TE's, and Miller's been a smaller part of the Pitt passing game than in years past. There are a lot of better options.

Right- was thinking more Sanders. But the Pats DBs are dropping like flies. Troy Brown may need to be brought back into the building.

Well, the one good DB they have- McCourty (who is having a crap year) will be on Wallace.

Not sure if that means much but McCourty was a beast last year- so I wouldnt be too shocked if Wallace gets shut down and the other two WRs light up the Pats. A little shocked sure, but not "out-on-a-limb" shocked.

Ha! No, I would still be happy about that start. As a Pats fan I am thinking this is going to be a crazy game. I am going to have to hydrate to excess!

I'm not as enamored as the media apparently is with BB, so it was just my little knock on him. Don't read too much in to it.
