Starting to get the feeling that Maclin's injuries may make him a non-factor the rest of the way. With the Eagle's dream season in the toilet I fear they may shut him down with nothing to play for. Dropable???

No way. Reid's job could be on the line and he has a hammy. When his hammy is better he will want to play, he is a football player. If guys CAN play and they are healthy enough to play and better than the other guys at the position, they play. He will come back next week is my guess and while I might wait and see for 1 week, if you are going deep into your playoffs, I think you should hang onto him. Vince Young might lock onto him, guy runs good routes and its not like there are superstars ahead of him on the depth chart.

Also, if you are Maclin, you are finishing your 3rd year and probably looking at being the #1 WR next year and looking for an extension. The more good games you put on your resume, the more you get paid. He will play if able and will be the #1 option.

Timing is everything...

The whole situation in philly is so difficult to predict. I could see Reid and company looking to get guys like Avant and Cooper more targets to see what they're capable of in the nfl. He can't just keep going like they've been going. Outside of Mccoy, Eagles fans don't have a lot to be excited about next year... Andy's only hope is to save face by finally switching things up and finding success, and I'm not sure he does that by relying on guys like djax and maclin. If you could put the two together, you'd have a great wr.
