Yes, I went there. In a total points league and I'm in the top 3. Winner gets a very nice chunk of change (around $1500 depending on transaction fees, could be more, 2nd gets around $800). Every point matters.

Cundiff someone dropped after his Seattle game, and then he was unavailable last week being a protected FA. The thing about the Ravens is that they stall often on offense and Cundiff is getting a lot of opportunities. Hanson is accurate, but Cundiff already has 11 more FGA's then Hanson.

Cundiff - CLE/IND/SDG/CLE/CIN
Hanson - NOR/MIN/OAK/SDG/GNB

Looking at the schedule they will certainly move the ball. I'm sure the Lions will do well but the Lions seem to get it in the endzone more consistently than the Ravens. What do you guys think?

There's also the consideration that Hanson is playing indoors weeks 13, 14 and 16 while Cundiff is going to be freezing his footballs off.

Kickers are tough to predict. Baltimore has run 717 plays from scrimmage and averages 29:50 ToP per game, whereas Detroit has run 723 plays from scrimmage and averages 29:44 ToP per game. Given these very similar game paces, Detroit has 33 offensive touchdowns and 21 field goal attempts versus 24 offensive touchdowns and 31 field goal attempts for Baltimore. You are definitely right that Detroit puts the ball into the end zone more often which would result in fewer chances for total points for the kicker. That being said, Jason Hanson will play 3 of those last 5 games indoors (including @NO) and I think that overall he is a better kicker. If I HAD to pick one, I would take Hanson.

Oh I think that Hanson is a better kicker, but I don't know if he is a better fantasy football kicker. Cundiff already has 11 more attempts despite the fact that the Lions score 4 more points per game than the Ravens.

Doesn't cold weather hurt the offense but actually help the kicker? I seem to recall low scoring games when it is snowing and usually quite a few FG opportunities, or his my memory just hazy?

Cold weather favors running backs and is horrible for kickers - the ball is like a rock :)
