If you 1) love fantasy football....2) love to draft and..... 3) you love to wager sand, I've got a deal for you - a MFL based fantasy football league running through the NFL playoffs which are schedule to kick off Saturday January 7, 2012.


The basic format will be:
- 12 teams max
- Fee: 1,000 sand
- Draft: 4 hour clock (draft took 4 days last year) starting 8am WEDNESDAY morning January 4, 2012 (clock suspended midnight thru 8am) with ability to pre-draft.
- Draft Order: Random order generated - serpentine - 16 rounds
- Roster: 16 players fixed from draft / no waivers etc.
- PPR decimal scoring
- Total starter points accumulated from wild card week through SB count towards your team total

Each player is eligible to be rostered on 2 different teams and can only generate fantasy points towards your teams total 1) if his team is playing that week and 2) you have him in your starting lineup. A player is eligible to be used as a starter in multiple playoff weeks.

Total Starters: 9
Number of Starting QBs: 1
Number of Starting RBs: 2-3
Number of Starting WRs: 2-3
Number of Starting TEs: 1-2
Number of Starting PKs: 1
Number of Starting Defs: 1

Sand Payout
Just to keep it interesting and have teams engaged all the way through the playoffs:

Winner - 8,000 sand
2nd place - 2,500 sand
3rd place - 1,500 sand
