I watched a video recap of the first two games to refresh myself, and something that kind of escaped me was this... in the events of the first two entire games... exactly 1.5 Reapers have been killed. The final boss of ME2 was not even a completed Reaper.

Yes, but the Terminator is notoriously hard to kill.

Just started playing ME2 so I can be ready for ME3. Less than 2 days and it already has me hooked. Playing as an Infiltrator and I love the sniper rifle.

If you end up going back and playing ME1 don't try to be a sniper. There's so much sway on the crosshairs it's intolerable.

It only works once you max out the skill, before that it's basically useless.

I have a major video game stiffy for ME3. Looks great, although from what I hear, if you have played the ME2 DLCs there seem to be some story gaps that will need to be rectified. I won't spoiler it thought...
I'm looking forward to the multiplayer as well.

Just a few days until reporter punching... best part of the game was rocking the reporter chick.

It made me laugh so hard in ME1, didn't see it coming at all.

I did that in ME2(not what I expected from the Renegade Interrupt, I figured he would grab/break/shoot the camera)...You mean you can punch a reporter in ME1 also?

So I just read about the DLC that comes with the collectors edition, or $10 for everyone else...

wth IS THIS BIOWARE!?!

I will not go so far as to spoil what the content is, except that it is a character. How do you justify this not being included with every single copy of the game!? If you want to know what I am talking about, just look up "From Ashes" on google. This should NOT be DLC, and every fiber of my being wants to not buy this game now just to give Bioware the middle finger for selling out entirely... but I can't... I can't not finish the trilogy.

After this, Bioware can kiss my behind though... this is beyond absurd.

That goes for you Dragon Age III...

You're about two weeks late on the indignation here. The devs have gone through and explained that essentially what happens is the game finishes development but then has a very extensive testing period. It is in that period that the DLC is developed by a different development group. It really is completely additional content, added in after the game was fully completed.

If it's a huge deal just preorder through Amazon. If you're not getting the collector's edition, they give you a $10 credit with your order. Use that to get the DLC.

Besides, they could have released the game before the holidays, as originally planned, with just the single player and done very well. Instead, for the same price, they added a multiplayer portion that is a ton of fun. Again, completely additional to the completed single player game.

Since I was going to buy it either way, that's all just bonus game for the same dollar. I think ME3 will be one of the better release-day purchases because of it.
