Disagree. Singularity (adept skill) kills husks instantly. Not only that, but it kills any of them within range of it's gravitational pull.


So does a well-placed grenade, which soldiers and infiltrators have. Other characters might too.

Because husks are puzzies.

Yes, but grenades go boom and they are done. Singularities stick around for a while. Throw one down where the husks are spawning and you can deal with the larger baddies and ignore the husks.

Yeah, no doubt singularity is a better power than grenades.

Just saying that every class has the ability to deal with husks en mass. They're really not that tough.

Have ya'll played the multiplayer yet? I like it quite a bit. I played two rounds last night, beat one of them and lost in wave 9 in the other. Those banshees and brutes are crazy hard to kill. In those two rounds my character went from level 1 to level 7! The XP really cranked up quite a bit. I really like how it adds to your galactic readiness. Just in those two rounds, I added 9% to my readiness. Kinda cool crossover feature that will actually take some of the pressure off in the campaign. I don't feel like I have to do everything in order to get 100% readiness.

Yeah, it's awesome. I'm glad they integrated it into the larger game too. I played it a lot when the demo came out. Basically they let you play two levels vs. Cerberus, and half the characters were available. I didn't ever beat gold, but bronze becomes routine pretty quickly and beat silver multiple times.

Just FYI, I've found the basic packs you buy aren't really worth it, save up and get a veteran pack or spectre pack. That's where you find new characters and guns.

Assault rifles suck in this game.

Graphics are great.

Storyline so far is meh.

It doesn't sound like it, but I'm enjoying it.

I rock the assault rifle, the mattock is pretty good. I use that and a shotgun exclusively. Need the fast power recharge to string charges together.

I use the particle rifle. I think the others suck. Their rate of fire is what annoys me. I like shotguns a lot better in 3 than I have in the other 2, especially with the bayonet attachment.

See, I am usually a shotgun user, and have been underwhelmed by the ones that were good in ME2. The Claymore has one shot and a crazy long reload... it was beast in ME2. Are any of the spectre weapons worth the price? Thinking about getting the 250,000 credit shotgun when I get enough.

I upgraded the particle rifle, and let everyone else fend for themselves. :lol:

All the weapons I already have access to are better. The shotgun improves on weight, but nothing else. The sniper rifle improves rate of fire, but is twice as heavy.
