I do have a tendency to be a nostalgia buff. And for me, few things bring that nostalgia more quickly than the toys of my youth. I thought it would be interesting to post pics of those toys that really bring back those great memories. Here's a few of mine:

Anything Hot Wheels.

There's loads more. Growing up in the 60's and 70's was a great time for toys!!

I really don't remember having that many toys as a kid.

Yep...had these, too. Man this is gonna be a great thread!!!

We used to have our electric race car sets and ran those things until the cars didn't go any more!! Then we all got together and just ran straight away races like the equivalent of 1/4 mile pinks. Man, we used to spend hours and days painting and cleaning the electronics of our cars, going to buy new ones and to be the king of the neighborhood. Good times!!

I really loved the SSPs that you would crash into each other and all the parts would fly off. :thumbright:

I swear this is true. Our neighbor lauched one and it came down and landed in his head. I remember his family driving to the Base Hospital in Great Lakes with a towel over his head covering the Jart. His head came to a point. They got it out. He didn't seem any different but e was slow anyways...probably why he threw it staight up in the first place!
