been a lot of crappy games.. most I've watched anyway.

Horrible 'basketball' this year as a whole.

Crappy games yes, but we've had record upsets in certain rounds, and a few other records I have fallen.

I guess because NC State is in the Sweet 16 my interest is extremely high but there are some real good story lines behind the scenes as well.

No buzzer beater yet. We're due. Thought VCU was going to be the first one.

Maybe I'm just enjoying it because my brackets are doing great. Nailed OU and NC St in the sweet 16 (got 13 in total - missing on Mizzou, Florida St, and Vandy), had Duke losing to Xavier and Mizzou losing to Marquette. Only concern, had UNC all the way. I thought Kentucky would beat them, but can't stand rooting for Calipari so I took the Heels. Whoops.

I would sit out Marshall against Ohio for sure and then only use him in an emergency. This is of course if he can play at all without further damage... Heck, I'd roll the dice and sit him out till the championship!

Although, without him, they will certainly have a hard time against ku and osu and may not even get there.

Guy is not going to play the rest of the Tourney. Ol' Roy is just stringing you along so as not to tip his hand. Crappy break for the kid and for the Heels.

I have to agree with this. Making teams spend extra time preparing for him. The kid has a good pro career ahead of him and would probably be stupid to jeopardize it by trying to play. We shall see.

That's my thought too... I busted my scaphoid bone a few yrs ago and could do anything for 6 months... I tried to let it heal on it's own with a cast, then decided to have a screw put in and even got a buddy of mine to score me a bone STIM and it still took forever so to think he can play a week or two later is crazy... I even said to a buddy of mine who's a duke grad...how is he going to dribble? Not having the left hand will limit his ability and the defense will take advantage... I also said that we just need him to run the offense and dish the assists... He didn't start scoring pts till that duke game!

We'll see...

So we have a sweet 16, which to me is still an accomplishment and a good benchmark for consistent excellence in today's game. Funny how we always talk about how unpredictable the tourney is but 10 of these teams were in the ap top 15 pre-season poll. For all the lambasting of the early polls, it seems that they were pretty spot on again this season.

I agree, we have a solid 16 and I'm looking forward to watching it play out!

Funny thing is that you can bet the other coaches already know that Marshall will not be able to go--or at least be EXTREMELY limited. All these guys have instant access to orthopedic specialists, as do the Vegas wiseguys. Bet the line moved when they heard he had a pin inserted. If I'm the kid's dad there is no way my son risks his NBA career to win one for Williams.

Guess Ol' Roy will have to rely on one of the kids he threw to the wolves at the end of the FSU whooping. Karma is a beotch baby.

Michigan st. Louisville should be a great game that goes down to the wire... KinDa torn here.. I have msu in my brackets but wouldn't mind seeing Louis move on.

Not very great so far. D has been fine, but the offense especially MSU has been pathetic.

CARDS!!! I love seeing MSU out,as they are always such a threat in the tourney. First time Izzo fails to make the final 4 as a #1 seed. Cards get UF now, and Billy Muenster has never beaten Pitino. Should be a good one.
