I'm in a keeper league where we keep 6 each year. No more than 3 at 1 position.
I have:
Romo
Charles, St. Jackson, Bradshaw, Ben Tate
Britt, Antonio Brown, Lloyd, Mike Williams (TBB)

Should I trade Bradshaw and Tate for McFadden?

I would then probably keep:
Romo
Charles, Mcfadden, Jackson
Britt, Antonio Brown

Yes. Since you can only keep a limited number of players, you should trade all players you can't keep, to upgrade the players you will keep. McFadden has some injury risk, but so does Bradshaw (if to a lesser degree). McFadden has higher upside when he's playing though. Any chance you can trade Lloyd? Since it sounds like you won't be keeping him, he might get some interest from other teams, now that he's with Brady. Maybe you can upgrade one of your other keepers (Steven Jackson and Kenny Britt look upgradeable). SJax is an injury waiting to happen, and Britt will still be slightly limited for at least the first part of this upcoming season. Britt has better long term upside though.

I would do that deal as well. It would be tempting to keep Llyod and dump S-Jax.
