Saying this will of course get Geraldo slammed, but the message he is trying to convey is perfectly legitimate IMO. How you look DOES effect people's opinion of you, right or wrong. If you had a black or hispanic son you would naturally encourage him to not dress in gangsta fashion, whatever that is. PC crap will make this into a circus, and the valuable message will be completely lost.

No, the point is the kid who was murdered should be able to wear whatever the hell he wants without having to fear he is going to get shot over it. To say that what he is wearing was equally responsible for the kid's death is foolish. I wear hoodies all the time.
