Not Opening Day...I have stats in all my leagues that say it isn't so...did I mention how stupid this is?
Kidding

Even though some serious injuries have dampened my mood a little, I'm excited about the Royals this season. The loss of Salvador Perez hurts a lot more than Soria

Their starting pitching will suck, but the offense has me feeling a little optimistic.
Now, if Ned Yost will get Alcides Escobar out of the 2 spot in the lineup, I would be a lot happier

They still go 75-87, but it will be a good 75 wins

Pretty sure Mat Gamel doesn't qualify for ROY.. but as Gamel owner in SSB, I like your thinking!

A chalk laden post in a year where at least 3 (Angels / Tigers / Rangers) and possibly 4 (Red Sox) teams in the American League will be better than any team in the National League....

NL East - Phillies
NL Central - Cardinals
NL West - Diamondbacks
NL WC - Giants
NL WC - Braves

AL East - Red Sox
AL Central - Tigers
AL West - Angels
AL WC - Rangers
AL WC - Rays

AL Champ - Tigers
NL Champ - Diamondbacks
WS Winner - Tigers

AL MVP - Albert Pujols
AL CY - Justin Verlander
AL ROY - Yu Darvish

NL MVP - Justin Upton
NL CY - Zack Greinke
NL ROY - Yonder Alonso

NL Largest fall from grace - Ryan Braun
AL Largest fall from grace - Michael Pineda

Less than star fantasy baseball players you wish you had drafted - Delmon Young, Lucas Duda, Dee Gordon, Tom Milone, Juan Nicasio

Star fantasy baseball players you'll regret drafting - Ryan Braun, Jose Bautista, David Wright, Tim Lincecum, Alex Rodriguez, Carl Crawford

Star fantasy baseball players who will at least equal or probably outperform their lofty draft position - Ian Kinsler, Evan Longoria, Albert Pujols, Zach Grienke, Felix Hernandez, Starlin Castro, Justin Upton

When was opening day? Earlier in the week when the m's played the a's in Japan, yesterday when the marlins opened their new ballpark or today when half the teams play their first game?

Jeez, talk about a pitcher's duel in Anaheim.

0-0 in the bottom of the 8th.

Crow threw a hell of an inning... then proceeded to implode and along with Holland, cost KC the game the following inning. Still... fun to watch.
