I have to keep 8 IDP players at all times. 6 start, 2 bench.

What should I do for week 6?

I have 3 great LB, so I'm reluctant to cut any of them.

That means I have to cut either Berry or Parrish to fill my starting IDP lineup in week 6.

SJS you said to not cut Berry in another post, would you recommend cutting the top scoring DB in my league over Berry?

It's a 10 teamer with alot of talent on the WW, and it seems the DB position is the most unpredictable, but I'd hate to cut either of these guys.

WW:
DL: J. Henderson/Kev. Williams
DB: T. Davis/Sharper/B.Scott/E.Coleman/W.Demps

Any advice?

10 Team HTH Redraft League:
Pass: 4pt/TD & .04pts/YD
Run/Rec: 6pt/TD & .1pts/YD
IDP: 6pt/TD, Safety=3, Sack=3, Int=2, FR=2, Tackle=1, Assist=0.5

Offense: Start: QB/2RB/3WR/TE/K & [8] Bench
IDP: Start: 2DL/2LB/2DB & [2] Bench

QB: Hasselbeck(McNair)
RB: Holmes/Barber(C.Brown)(LJ)(Staley)(Jacobs)
WR: Holt/S. Moss/Lloyd(Coles)(Lelie)(Porter)
TE: Gates
K: Graham
DL: Bert Berry/Terrell Suggs
LB: Ray Lewis/Andra Davis(Brooking)
DB: Terrence Kiel/Tony Parrish(Madieu Williams)

I'd consider getting rid of WR Lelie, if that's possible, and I like E Coleman out of your list. Madieu Williams is hurt with a shoulder injury and even if he returns this week, I think he's going to be bothered by it for the rest of the year. you may want to try for a replacement for him as well...

Thanks but, my IDP portion of my roster is restricted as stated above.

Need to have 6 starters and 2 bench IDP at all times. 2DL/2LB/2DB/2Bench

This week I'll cut M. Williams for some other DB since Parrish is on bye, but then I need to replace Berry for the week also. That means cutting Berry, Suggs, Kiel or Parrish for a week 6 DL.

I guess I was thinking of cutting Berry or Suggs for a one week replacement and maybe get them back after week 6.

you might have to cut berry in your case......obviously you have to fill out a starting team, and it makes it more difficult in leagues with roster requirements.......

Thank you. I comes down to cutting Berry or Parrish to field a complete starting lineup for week 6.

Parrish is #1DB, Berry is #5DL.

I'm going to lose one of them from here on out.
The top 10 DB's are only separated by 8 points in my league (40-32)
The top 10 DL's are separated by 15 points (42-27)
The top 10 LB's are separated by 14 points (55-41)

Does it make more sense in this instance to cut Parrish, who's points can more easily be replaced? I guess I see Berry's 3.5 sacks and at 3 points per sack, maybe is more valuable than a DB with only 2 point for Int's and no points for pass defended.

What do you think of that logic?
