Anyone think its worth starting Reggie (vs Det, with Pierre Thomas limited and very doubtful to play) over Chris Johnson? Usually, I'd say go with an earlier pick (got Johnson in the 3rd) in Week 1, but this might be a tale of 2 very different matchups.

I think I would roll with Bush, not because I have him, but because I see the steelers at home shutting CJ the eff down.

You can probably get more info in here..

Don't run on the Steelers def in week one. Everyone is feeling chipper and healthy and they have bad gas. Usually you want to always Play yer studs, regardless. Not in this case.

And Reggie Bush aka the man who led the league in receptions through the first few weeks of the season won't? Reggie's upside is tremendous in PPR leagues, go with Reggie.

PS. How the hell did you get CJ in the 3rd??

Its almost a straight TD league (2 points for each 25 yards over 75 rushing doesn't amount to much) and not PPR even.

8 teams, starting 2QBs each, means you can get top RBs into the 3rd.

With those settings this becomes a little more difficult...Is it 75 combined yards or 75 rushing yards?

If it 75 rushing yards I would go with 4.24 this week and I really think Bush loses most of his value this year.

Help with mine: http://www.fantasysharks.com/forum/view ... p?t=210637

I think Johnson went for 65 and a TD against the Stillers last year, which is not too bad and he'll certainly catch a few passes. Reggie Bush won't rush for any more yards, but he will catch some passes, which, in my opinion eves the two out. So, all things constant, I would start Chris Johnson regardless.

Weird league. In a TD heavy league like that, I would say to roll with Bush, because he has the best chance to score against Detroit. 4.24 will be okay, but will be bottled up on the ground & I like Bush to catch more passes with Pierre likely out.

I'm definitely benching Chris Johnson against PIT.

Luckily, I have Kevin Smith to start ahead of him... but I would for Reggie Bush in my scoring format as well.

I really expect him to get beat up.
