I am in a keeper league that only allows you to keep up to three players, no more than 2 running backs. You can keep 2 (minimum keepers) and draft in round 0 (round 0 is for all teams that only kept 2 players and you cannot have more than 2 RBs after round 0 or for your 3 keepers and you cannot draft rookies in round 0.)

My certain 2 keepers are Aaron Rodgers and Ray Rice. My next 2 best players are Jamaal Charles and Dwayne Bowe. I can likely get a comparable or better player than Bowe in round 0, so my likely choice is 2 Keepers (Rodgers and Rice) or 3 (plus Jamaal Charles.) I need to decide in about a month.

So far, does it seem Jamaal Charles will be close to old form (even 80% would be worth keeping)? Any current reports on him (I search and all I can find is him saying he is near 100% but no official reports.)

Anyone/any Chiefs fans know?

How many people are in your league?

Who is going to be available in round 0 and where is your pick? I'd default to keeping Charles, and only go in another direction if you're positive that you can get a better player.

you already have an elite QB. I am guessing most teams keep 2 rb's. so with 12 teams thats 24 rb's unless the goto round zero which if they cut there RB or WR he is worse then Charles. No one would cut a top 10 WR.

So unless you draft 0.1 or 0.2 the player you would get would be worse then charles is my guess. Is he healthy? Its a keeper league who cares.

11 people. Season highest score wins. I pick 11th in 1st round no matter what - round 1 and round 0 have no snaking like other rounds. In O it would depend on how many people only keep 2 players (I would be last how ever many did - usually about 4 or 5 do, so I would probably pick 5 or 6th, so basically the top ~32 players would be gone.)

If Jamaal Charles is anywhere near healthy, Ill keep him but I can find no objective reports on his health.

Charles is definitely better than a top 32 player. I think he's around the 15th best player. He got hurt really early last year, so he's had plenty of time to heal. He may never be the same, but the up side it too nice. There are so few good RBs this year, you would end up using your first pick on a RB anyway and he wouldn't be as good as Charles.

I wouldn't even entertain releasing Charles unless you know for a fact you can get a superior player. If you let him go, somebody else is taking him in round 0. It's a bad move.

Charles is a keeper. If healthy, and it is a risk, he has the potential to be a top 5 RB.

I also have Charles and am in a position where I need to decide if I want to keep him or let him go. I keep two between CJ2K, Charles and Gronkowski. Right now, I am keeping CJ2K but my second keeper is still up in the air. Thoughts? I think Charles can rebound nicely, but, the thought of Hillis stealing goal-line carries worries me a bit.

I start the standard 2RB, 2WR, TE, Flex. Non-PPR, 10 man.

What makes people think Hillis is back? Mentally the guy quit after last year. He already talked about retiring. i would not think once about a turd laying on the grass. Just pray you don't step in it.

I am more concerned about Charles' health than losing carries but in your position, I would keep Gronkowski (he is a top receiver in the game but can be in the limited TE position) and decide between Chris Johnson and Charles. I am a Titans fan and no so high on Johnson. Charles and Johnson are probably equal in upside and risk. Probably flip-a-coin close but if Charles is healthy, I would take him over Johnson.

The Titans offense is moving toward a hybrid run and shoot with the new coaching staff and are putting a premium on a running back who can catch out of the backfield and pass protect/block and Chris Johnson is poor/below average in both those areas. Titans will not give up on him (his contract is too huge) but a healthy Ringer fits the offense better, so I suspect a possible 60/40 might develop (Johnson's running style would fitwell with that and he would put up good numbers in a 60/40 probably. )

Changes nothing! Keep Charles, that's easy.
