Please tell me what the difference between what he did and a batter after striking out chucking their bat and nothing happening to them?

It was all on Holbrook's discretion. He read it as an argument of his call, took it personally, and gave him the boot. Doesn't help when you're spiking the ball in close proximity to an ump in frustration. Maybe slightly different since it's still a live ball? Greinke showing him up and then an ump having to call time? That's the only thing I can think of.

Over the past few years, more and more umpires have converted to the NBA rule of "players are prohibited from displays of human emotion."

Except if your name is lebron James.... Then you can openly display disgust about a non call, every single possession!

The Angels have agreed to a trade with the Brewers for Zack Greinke, adding to a stacked rotation and grabbing the biggest prize available on the July trade market.

The deal will send shortstop Jean Segura, considered a top prospect, and minor-leaguers Ariel Pena and Johnny Hellweg to the Brewers, sources confirmed to CBSSports.com Friday night.

Greinke joins a rotation that already includes Jered Weaver, C.J. Wilson and Dan Haren, and makes the Angels even stronger as they try to overtake the Rangers in the American League West. The strong rotation would also make the Angels a favorite in October.

The Angels beat out a strong field to land Greinke. The White Sox, Rangers and Braves all wanted him badly, and will now be forced to consider other options.

Texas will likely turn to James Shields. It's not as clear who the White Sox and Braves will pursue next.

Foxsports.com was first to report the deal.
