some guys just dont get it.

After rookie wide receiver Michael Floyd didn't take part in a workout with teammate Larry Fitzgerald on Monday in Minnesota, the Arizona Cardinals franchise star slapped Floyd with a "DWI."

A different kind of DWI.

Larry Fitzgerald

@LarryFitzgerald
Just finished a great workout with @Wellefast. I'm charging @MichaelMFloyd with a DWI "don't want it" he missed a 3rd straight workout 2day.

Floyd -- who, not for nothing, had three alcohol-related run-ins at Notre Dame, including a DUI -- responded to his new teammate moments later.

@LarryFitzgerald @Wellefast I didn't take food off your table today. Tomorrow I will though.

Though it's more fun to read into this as Fitzgerald angrily blasting Floyd's porous work ethic, the reality is likely far more innocuous. But if you're an Arizona Cardinals fan-fiction writer looking for a hot angle, here's the start of your next piece.

Someone give Fitzgerald a hug, he seems to need attention.

It's Fitz. He's entitled to AT LEAST 2.

Just an example of what Floyd has to look forward to this year, getting overshadowed.

The reports were good coming into the season.. Bruce Arians seemed like a good coach to get the best out of him. He's seen his fair share of targets, just hasn't been able to do much with them. Don't know if that's on Palmer, the O-Line not protecting Palmer, or what, but this might be a week where he has the opportunity to break out, with Revis on Fitz.

Kicking myself for thinking Floyd > Nuk coming into the season.

I've seen about 10 minutes of AZ so far this year on RedZone. He made a great 1-handed catch in Week 1 vs STL. That's all I really saw though. I have to use him this week with Cobb on BYE, so I'm hoping he'll do something with Revis sticking on Fitzgerald.

Seems like the Cardinals' main problem is still the O-Line and QB a bit of a problem too.
