What is the tank's view on not rostering a kicker or DST during preseason in order to hold on to a couple of extra position players while waiting for things to play out during the preseason? Is this unethical in your eyes?

But you better be aware of FA rules. I laugh when I see guys that do that during Shark Leagues and don't realize there is no FA until after week 1.

Not drafting a Kicker/DST is a very good idea as long as you're aware of league rules.

Seems kind of slimyto me, but all types play FF

Make sure there will be a WW before first game though. In official Shark Leagues there is no WW until after Week 1 games so while K and DST don't vary widely, guaranteed 0 can't be good for Week 1 matchups

Leagues i am in do not require the positions to be filled and there are WW moves prior to Week 1 so this is an approach I do take. I don't think it is slimy or shady at all. However, i agree with everyone, KNOW YOUR LEAGUE RULES.

Not bush league at all. If you don't want it in your league then make a rule on it. It's come up before, so I've always countered with getting rid of kickers - usually dies then. I think Lestar Jean makes a lot more sense with my 16th roster spot than Shaun Suisham.

I agree with the sentiment as well. I am currently in a argument with a guy in my league on the subject and just wanted to see what everyone else had to think. If your league rules allow it, I think there is definitely nothing wrong with waiting till a few days before the season starts to pick up your K/DST.

If you're not required to start a kicker, sure. But if you're required to start a kicker (or a D/ST for that matter) and not required to draft one. Bush league.

If you don't have preseason FF games then your league is bush league. [-X

I agree, and would do the same.
