Thoughts on his viability drafted as a WR3 (30th-35th), especially compared to DMoore, SHolmes, Little? Do you think his knee will be healthy enough to start off and throughout the season?

I am all over Britt as a #3 WR. Why the hell not? The talent of a #1 WR at a #3 value? Yes he is a headcase, but WR is so deep you can find someone else if he does not work out.

I think between his all-but-certain suspension, his knees, and his capacity to get into more trouble, the guy will be lucky to play half the season.

But as a WR3 I think he's still worth a shot, especially if you're not wowed by the other available options when you're drafting. I'd take him over the other guys you listed.

Do you mean 30-35 pick? Britt has the skills but why draft him so early? In the tiger 6 he's still there at the 5-6 elbow. Too much depth this year to reach for him in the 3rd.

He went off the board as the 34th WR taken at 8.09 in Mako 1 - my WR4.

No need to reach for him as your WR3 before Rd 7.

x2

He really has upside the last half of the season..if he gets his head on straight..I tend to think he's great (or good) value at the rd 9-10 he's going now..!

I have my fingers crossed he falls to me in Round 7 (Pick 7.06/78 with ADP of 73). Purely on the fact I think he still owes me a 2nd half of the season's production (LARGE production btw) from last year.

Brit with his head on straight is less likely than a healthy DMC. Bit he does have a high ceiling.

Head on straight AND healthy knee? And share time with Wright and Washington and Cook? AND probably have a new QB in Locker chucking it?

I wonder if the looming suspension will give him more time to heal, thus combining these two negatives into one early-season loss. As a WR4 I can see the risk/reward. Looks like a guy you could let somebody else draft and then pluck from the WW right before he actually starts producing.

Whether it's 2 or 4 games that he ends up being suspended (if any), it only plays into the fact that it allows him more time to rehab the knee and potentially be productive when he hits the field. A glass half full view perhaps.

The potential suspension is not impacting if and when I'd draft him as a lower end WR3 type nor are his off the field issues which have never impacted his on-field production.

Maybe over-simplifying it but when he's able to take the field, he's produced at a WR2 type level with WR1 type of upside. His talent level exceeds Washington/Wright/etc. so he'll get his when he plays regardless of who is QB'ing.

As someone else pointed out, he's a lesser WR equivalent of D McFadden.

There's a pic of him in the online TN newspaper rehabbing running on the field pulling a 90 pound sled....the guy looks like he's in pretty good shape physically.

When did Patrick Ewing start pulling a sled?

i like Nate Washington as a late-rd WR that's probably off most peoples radar.

Britt, some ??s.... K.Wright, rookie.

if Locker is the QB, he'll be moving around, making plays, etc... sure, a burner like Wright might get some deep TD's on broken plays when Locker extends the play.... and of course CJ2k will get plenty of touches... but Nate Washington could have a nice solid year in that mix.
