Vincent Brown was diagnosed with a broken left ankle in Saturday's preseason game.
According to beat writer Kevin Acee, Brown is expected to miss "at least" eight weeks, and is out for the remainder of the preseason. A best case-scenario would have him returning after the first five games. This all but locks in Robert Meachem as the starter opposite Malcolm Floyd, with Eddie Royal (groin) primarily in the slot. Even when he returns, Brown could struggle to regain his pre-injury form. We're not holding out hope for fantasy value.

I'm liking Meachum even more as a high WR3 and mid-low WR2. He's a down field threat that should fit in well with Turner's vertical attack imo.
