Can Darren Sproles be an RB1 this season, in PPR Leagues? He finished RB6 in our league last year.

Dunno bout a RB1, but I'm high on him in PPR as my RB2. I've coupled him w/ Arian Foster at the 2/3 turn wherever he'd fall to me that far, sneaky value.

He can, but I would want to pair him with another RB1.

He's going as the 12th RB, so borderline:

http://football.myfantasyleague.com/2012/adp?COUNT=500&POS=Coach%2BQB%2BTMQB%2BRB%2BFB%2BWR%2BTE%2BTMTE%2BWR%2BTE%2BRB%2BWR%2BTE%2BKR%2BPK%2BTMPK%2BPN%2BTMPN%2BDef%2BST%2BOff&CUTOFF=5&FRANCHISES=12&IS_PPR=1&IS_KEEPER=0&IS_MOCK=0&TIME=1345003200

That said, I don't expect him to repeat last year's numbers.

last yr was sproles high water mark,i doubt he comes close to doing what he did last yr now that hes gonna lose more carries with ingram healthy,i won't be drafting him unless he falls to the 3rd which is happening now with him and his knee and missing all of preseason,i've been getting him mid to late 3rd

Not sure how he can get fewer than the 5.4 carries a game he got last year.

He's a receiver in running back's clothing. I agree he's not going to do what he did last year.

Also, he's a keeper in my league, so I haven't been following his knee issues.

Definitely not a first-rounder in my book.

He seems to be going to high in mocks I've been in. I would take him in the mid-3rd round and feel good about it, but probably not any higher than that. I like Lynch and FJax better.

I feel comfortable with him as a RB2. Last season may have been his ceiling, but I don't think he's going to drop off too much.

LOL to the people who don't think he is a rb1 ppr. I mean you don't trust him more then MCFadden, Murray, Forte, etc?

He is in a high powered offense. High powered offenses score tons of touchdowns. Brees likes to throw to him in the redzone. They are in the redzone alot. Follow the logic?

I mean if his numbers are more likely 500 rushing yards, 600 rec yards, 80 catches, 6 touchdowns.....That is still a rb 1.

I would draft him as a 1 because he is much safer then all these other guys.

Absolutely. And in a full point ppr league, he's definitely a RB1. Had a choice between him and Charles in this league and went Sproles. Whether or not he repeats last year remains to be seen. But I got a lot of strange looks when I drafted him........

If he's healthy, he's definitely a PPR RB1. All of those short grabs may not be sexy, but they add up over the course of a game. Maybe 80 catches is not do-able again, but 65-70 is still very good. If the league's not a PPR, he's more like a low end RB2.
