Wo would you rather have in a non ppr league, Steve Jackson or Fred Jackson? Give me your sales pitch.

standard points league is Steven Jackson all day. He is a top 10 (9) best RB on my board and F Jackson is number 18. If I missed Steven I would go Lynch, MJD, Peterson, Richardson and Bradshaw to name a few, before selecting F Jackson.

I am NOT saying F Jackson is a bad football player, I mean before the injury last year he was on pace to be a top 3 RB. Yet, I think Spiller will take plenty touches from him, especially with the big play ability he has. Besides Jackson is over 30, and Spiller looked good when Freddy broke his leg.

Steven Jackson is only 29, is the only thing going on on a Ram's offense, and has proven himself since taking ove for Faulk years ago.

Steven > Freddy in standard league

Steven > Freddy in standard league

I second that

I also like Fred. Even though he is 30, he has a lot less miles on him. He will still get his touches even with Spiller and there is talk of Spiller lining up as a wideout on some plays and even Fred playing QB in the wildcat.

I think they're really close and would happily grab either in the early 3rd round (10 team). I have Fred slightly higher on my board, but I love SJax.

Fred. He's a steal currently and has substantially higher upside than Sjax.

We obviously disagree here. What is his substantial upside? He is over 30 and has a very talented back in the same backfield that played extremely well last year when Freddy broke his leg

Not looking to get into a pissing match here; just want to see if there is something I am oerlooking or missing on F Jackson.

He's the youngest 31 in the NFL. He played his first NFL game in 2007 after kicking around in NFL Europa and the indoor league. People seem to forget that. Everyone in the Bills organization knows he's better than C.J. C.J. is the heir apparent, but it's Fred's spot right now.

Spiller is nowhere near Fjax in regards to running ability. Fjax has incredibly low wear for his age and is not only a better offense but is a major focus of it. Sjax's years of top 5 upside are in the rear-view while Fjax is running as good as he ever has with potential top 5 upside.

Fred.. no question. Much high ceiling and, I believe, is a complete steal in the 3rd. Not buying that Spiller takes a TON of carries from him either.
