not a fan of his.

he's more lenient for the away team in an effort to create balance and take away the homefield advantage.

There's an interesting auto-generated channel containing generic referee blooper if you search his name:

Referees take far too much grief from the average fan.

There has never been a game in the history of the NFL decided by a zebra.

Actually year there has...and thats why you want the best officials you can have at the end of a close game were on call can decide the game. And players get away with alot more. No refs are perfect but you still want the best ones out there. The difference is obvious though

The Pittsburgh Steelers and their fans may not agree with you...

I'm amazed he hasn't gone orange spray tan to go full Jersey Shore mode for attention.

Why so much hate for Hochuli ?? Because the guy actually gives an explanation instead of the supremely explanatory "The ruling of the field stands"? Except for the Cutler call, how many other games has he blown? That was a regular season game and people have forgotten Bill Leavy and SB 40? Do people hate him for his guns? A general hatred for trial lawyers perhaps?

Don't forget the classic ref getting owned on sideline by himself on DeSean's TD:
