Ok folks, I was kind of forced to draft Greene in my non-PPR league (he fell to the 8th round). Admittedly, I'm a bit fearful of the Tebow factor and the loss of red-zone TD opportunities. Sharks- what is your assessment of this situation?

Tim Tebow thread #123142 ](*,)

Shonne Greene situation is not pretty. He's a less than average RB in a system that should get him many touches, but the o-line is a shambles and Tim Tebow will be given plenty of chances to wildcat goalline carries.

He's a mediocre flex option at best with very little to no upside

  That Cassell fail was better than any content that would've been related to the thread title

Wouldn't it make sense for all the thread cops around here to refuse to post in redundant threads instead of berating people?

And let a mod take care of the cleanup?

But then what would the thread Cops do?

As far as the subject...

I think playing for the Jets is going to cut into Greens TDs more so then Tim Tebow.

if you got him in the 8th you were not expecting alot of tds to beging with. My suggestion is hope someone has a need at rb in the begining of the season and sell.

The mods haven't been combining any threads for some reason.

semi unrelated, but I wasn't adding a thread for this or wasting anymore time looking through the search for a thread

per mfl update:

Sep 26 - 1:08 PM

Jets RB Joe McKnight is moving to cornerback "in a near full-time role."
This is apparently the Jets' plan to offset the loss of Darrelle Revis. "He’ll have a role on offense, but we’re also teaching him how to play corner," coach Rex Ryan said. "Not quite a full-time capacity, but he’s going to be over there a ton in the meetings and everything else. ... He has the necessary skills to be able to play corner. He’s got the speed, the size, the athleticism, the ball skills." McKnight was a star corner in high school, but that was over half a decade ago. The move speaks to both the Jets' increasingly flawed roster, and McKnight's disappointing production at running back. He's officially off the fantasy radar for good. Bilal Powell is locked in as the Jets' No. 2 back, and a major threat to Shonn Greene's workload.

Desperate times call for hopeless measures. Mangina's once vaunted D has become a crumble of crackers. Same note Mangina did draft gholston.

Separate note 2-3 weeks and Bidal Powell is a starting RB.
