Thought it was sneaky grabbing the #1 WR on an admittedly lousy offense, but figured that Cleveland would be playing from behind all year and was looking forward to garbage time points.

Had no idea they would look that bad, though, and 0 catches on 4 targets doesn't look promising, with Massaquoi getting 8 targets and Travis Benjamin getting 6 and both of them catching most of their targets.

Garbage time doesn't mean anything when the QB has a single digit QB Rating (5!) and can't get the ball to anyone.

Forget RG III, not fair to compare, but Luck got a 53 QBR and made Reggie look great and Wilson a 63 QBR making Edwards and Rice look pretty decent.

Thinking it might be smart to drop Little for the 2nd or 3rd WR on a team with a QB...

i'm thinking of doing the same, Little just seems like a bust overall, i've seen enough of the drops. Somebody i know on the Browns says Josh Gordon will be "the guy" at some point.

yes.
he was only worth picking up as a late flyer anyway. No one's rushing to the wire to grab him after you cut him.

I wouldn't hesitate to drop him if there's a good option out there. Weeden really shifted his focus elsewhere after Little caused that 1st half pick, which if caught could have been a TD - or at least 1st and goal inside the 5. If there isn't anything out there give him a couple more weeks though, this is his put up or shut up year and that was a woeful start but he's going to get more opportunities that may not be there with guys on waivers. Just depends on the depth of the league. Absolutely would not start him under any circumstances this week though.

you thought what all of us did. Someone has to catch balls in Browns games. Little seems unmotivated to elevate himself for any purpose. Has the size speed and grit to play but no head or heart.

the "catching balls" part is a problem for him.

Your ability to determine will and effort thru the tv screen is quite amazing to me. :shocked!:

I dropped him for Cobb. Maybe I'm right. Maybe I'm wrong.

It's not really an overreaction.
Little was/is nothing more than a late round sleeper who might be a frequent target on a terrible team. Those guys can be tossed aside early if there's anyone on the wire who looks useful.

I don't think the situation is as bad as this game made it seem. I would consider Little droppable but not completely worthless just on this game.

That said, if Cobb is still available in your league you get him immediately. Don't know how that even happens...

Watching Weeden would make me worried about owning any WR on that team... I don't see any reason to second guess dropping Little. If you see anything remotely appealing out there go for it.
