Its a bump for Chandler.
Id like to see Dickerson get a run out in that role (which he wont, mores the pity)... but then again after the other night, i'd ideally prefer to be rooting for an entirely different team if truth be told ...
c'mon, jam.. buck-up
Always thought Dickerson would emerge in Houston with what they were attempting with him.. then saw him in the pre-season and thought the bills might've gotten a nice little gem with the cheap signing. Did he even see any snaps last weekend?.. someone has to use him sometime, goodness.
Dickerson got a whopping two snaps last week.
Not sure what he got this week, but if he doesnt hit double digits with Jones gone then he likely wont this year.
@infnthub: Youre absolutely right on the money as Chandler took both his passes within 10yds of the endzone ... One went 43yds from his own
10 and 1 TD inside their
FWIW Chandler has 11 targets over the past two games (5.5 avg), which is a bit better than 2.8 targets per game he avg'd last year.
Like i say hes in for a bump. Doesnt mean youre starting him next week or rushing for the WW, just said he was in for a bump with Nelson out
Id like to see Gailey use either of them as the mismatch across the middle (as lets be honest at 6'5" Nelson's there for his height not his YAC) as theyd both fit the bill (no pun, at 6'2" for DD and 6'7" for Chandler) and Dickerson at least would offer more potential for breaking a tackle or two
