Thanks enzonereview, kuhnmd1528, Crackhead Bob, kmstyf, getsmartt, Fantasy Tom, Hollidome1, bigredmachineffl, Spice Man, monkeywrench69 for the sand donations so far.

Seriously appreciate it guys! =D>

OOAL Rules
The rules are simple, make OOAL predictions and become famous! Errrr.. or just win some fake money. The top predictions from each week will be pitted against each other where your vote determines who will be 1000+ sands richer! Votes will be up for approx 24 hours and a new thread started for next week, so gear up for some ideas!

Keep in mind we award creativity so off-the-wall predictions may be included.

Trunk Huggers Break a nail typing these up, sissies?
badgasman9- Vikings win the game. (fairly certain this was meant as a joke but decided to use it to say to any new sharks- picking a team to win a game is NOT OOAL ever.)

OOAL Contenders - Close, but not good enough...

Quote:
Sakman33- Weeden throws 5 INTs. (close but "only" 4)

usmade89- The 5 rookie QB's combine for more TD's AND fewer INT's than the 'Elite 5' QB's.
(wasn't close but an interesting after looking up prediction after prediction some stand out as creative and interesting- Rooks- 4 TD 11 int Elites- 9 TD 8 int)

hawk35- Bears, Lions, Houston AND Pats ALL top 40 points each.
(Bears were the only one that hit but this one stood out b/c they flashed a stat on Monday night football saying 5 teams topped 40 pts which was the most ever for week 1. Teams were Ravens, Falcons, Redskins, Jets, and Bears)

OOAL Finalists - The most "out there" and correct.

paulie86- The New York Jets score 6 touchdowns.
(4 offensive, 1 pick six, 1 return...exactly six. Arguably one of the least expected teams to do it.)

springles- After last season's passing explosion, no QB throws for 400+ yards.
(Did some research to determine if this was OOAL or not- 22 different times last year a QB threw for over 400: Brees 4x including playoffs, Eli 3x, Brady 2x, Cam 2x, Stafford 2x, Rivers 2x, Rodgers 1x, Vick 1x, Schaub 1x, Carson Palmer 1x, Chad Henne 1x, Matt Flynn 1x, Vince Young 1x. At least 1 QB threw for 400+ weeks 1-5, weeks 12-15, week 17, and first two weeks of playoffs. Brady, Brees, Newton, and Henne all did it week 1.)

As always, if you don't think any deserve the reward there is a "None of the above option" and the reward pool will carry over towards next week's prize.

Thanks for participating everyone! Good luck next week!

After this preseason hype for Buffalo's D, and the terrible performance of the Jets offense, I think that deserves the win.

Absolutely. That might be one of the best we've had yet.

Just hitting the exact number of touchdowns is worth the win

There are always gonna be people who vote "None of the Above", but I looked and the last time the Jets had at least 6 touchdowns was September 28, 2008 when Favre threw for 6 in one game and they had a 7th which was a defensive int return. Will let voting run through tomorrow but looking pretty lopsided right now.

People will just be immature. I'm sure people would still vote for "None of the above" if someone accurately predicted that Walt Disney's zombie corpse rises up from the grave, gets signed by the Cincinnati Bengals, and leads all players in PPR scoring.

Well, it is Walt Disney. And Cincinnati will sign anyone, so...
