The Jennings owner in our league just dropped him for Crabtree? I was so suprised I was afraid to grab him right away. I didn't see anything too terrible about the groin injury. Is there more to the story out there? Or, maybe the guy just didn't like the wk 1 output?

QB M. Ryan, B. Rothlisberger
RB R. Rice, D. Murray, T. Richardson, M. Bush
WR M. Colston, S. Johnson, T. Smith, N. Washington
TE J. Finley, M. Bennett
K S. Janikowski
D/ST Detroit

the rest of the story is the guy who owned him is an idiot. your roster look fairly small at 14 players but i would drop washington for jennings in a second.

Randall Cobb!! :-k No actually, I am shocked that someone would drop Jennings because of a minor(as far as I know) injury. But with Cobb, Finley, & Jones getting that amount of targets, I would be a bit concerned about owning Jennings, or Nelson as I think both could be a little over-valued this year. It is obviously early in the season, but I think it's going to be hard to count on consistency from either Jennings and Nelson week in and week out. Not enough balls to go around?

Again, a classic case of panic. Drop Jennings? He's still on my team
and I have no intention of getting rid of a proven fantasy star. There
are football "experts" all over the place.

Thanx.

Cobb got snatched right away. Jones is the only other loose GB WR. I tried him out a year or two ago. Inconsistent at best.

A couple of other undrafted WRs I was looking at had a good week 1, but Jennings seems like a more consistent option.

I have Jennings in one league...would never drop him...trade him maybe.

But the real question is: who benefits more if he goes from doubtful to out Thursday?
Jones or Cobb? (please don't say Nelson or Finley, we know they are already studs)

Bears D is not equipt to deal with Cobb and his gadet play. Bears are a slow bruising defense. Cobb is fast and mobile. I am willing to bet Cobb has 6 Rec and 5 carries.

Same point Bears know Cobb won't win GB the game so even better yet Cobbs stats might get padded.

So with Jennings out can you plug Cobb in w/ confidence of at least getting WR2 numbers out of him?

Had planned on plugging in Cobb as flex even before the news of Jennings probably not going to play came out.

Main beneficiary of no Jennings = James Jones owners.
