Wow! I really like my projections for my team this week on the Sharks Lineup Coach! But I was just wondering if anyone knows how they actually determine the projected points? And I also wonder how much this tool helps you in deciding your lineups? Since there are a few choices that I'd have never dreamed of doing. But hey I'll try almost anything once. :-k

They're guessing like everyone else.

I'd expect an answer like that to come from a Phil fan.

So then I should write down my lineup and put it under my pillow at night?

I use it as a tool and nothing more. It's fairly useful, but would never just go by what they say.

I totally agree that it is just a tool. But on other sites like CBS you can definetly tell that they get get their projections from adverages. Be it from last season this early or deeper into the season from the present season. Was just wondering! But now I have a FFPF to believe in, ALL IS GOOD!!

If there's one way to ensure non-success, it's to simply go find the general consensus and then take the average of that.

F CBS.

Projections are just that: projections. Any fool can make projections.

I use the FantasySharks Lineup coach, but take any projections (or rankings) with a grain of salt.

The system isn't quite perfect, either. For instance, Fred Davis is "locked in" as a starter on my team with 12 projected points... while it says to leave Coby Fleener on the bench with 19 projected points.

I recommend reading everything, enlisting the Shark Help Advice Guild, and formulating your own opinions based on everything you absorb.

As far as the actual projections, I believe that they split it up between several people by division or something, and then the projections get aggregated in the weekly projections articles. That is how the lineup coach works, off those projections.
