Not sure if I should have posted this in the Trade and Waiver forum, but can someone elaborate on Amendola being a "smokin hot" pick-up according to this weeks waiver wire wonders from the sites articles? I know he got injured very early last year, but not very confident in using my first waiver pick on him.

I have the 2nd waiver claim this week in my big money league and if I don't get Cobb, I'm targeting Hill, but wondering nowif I should consider Amendola.

Choosing between Bradford's or Sanchez's receivers seems abysmal, hope Cobb is there...

So can the tank elaborate on Danny for me?

in ppr amendola might be the most consistent. Hill has the most upside..hit or miss

I like Amendola because he's Bradford's #1 and gets a ton of targets and has the past couple of years (when healthy). I just snatched him up off the WW after someone dropped him to pick up the new hotness of rookie WW WR options. Amendola is not the sexy pickup but he will be getting you consistent points week in and week out, which is really all you can hope for with WRs.

Cobb is the player you want, he might be a little inconsistent but he'll blow up plenty

Amendola is bye week replacement material, even in PPR, unless you start 4 or 5 WRs. Being Bradford's #1 target isn't much different from being Weeden's #1 target. An average this season of 5 catches for 70 yards a game sounds about right, along with about 4 TDs sprinkled in. That's not going to propel anybody to a championship.

Thoughts on Amendola after todays game? Caught 15 passes today and is easily Bradfords #1 target, looks like PPR gold. Think he is wr2/flex material every week here on out?

Well, there is kind of nobody else on the team to throw the ball too and it gets even better in that the RB's don't like to run the ball in either on the goal line and TE play isn't strong either. He managed to get over a 100 yards today which is something to hope for but I expect at least the 80 yards a game or so.

I think it won't be long before teams start trying to take him away and make Bradford look for other options. I still believe he'll average 6 catches or so and about 60-70 yards a game at seasons end.

Look at what the Packers did to Brandon Marshall, Danny will get that same treatment.

I started Amendola last 2 weeks and he hasn't dissapointed. My other 2 wrs are Wayne and J. Jones.

Not sure what to make of him...is he a sell high guy? Maybe package him and Ridley (my rb3) for a good wr?

In PPR I would always keep Amendola. I had him last year and he got snatched up from me a pick before in each league this year. I should have kept him for a 6th rounder this year, or not kept Helu (I blame myself and an abnormally early draft where I had to commit to stashing him for an 11th rounder) and picked him up in the 11th.

I was surprised to see him as a pick up on so many lists last week though. What kind of league are you in, especially a PPR, where this guy wasn't drafted? Can I get in there next year?
