Now I don't think Sanchez is very good, and I still dont like the fact that the jets have tebow on their team.

But Revis is out, and it looks like Harrison and Polamalu might be too.

So if Revis is out, and the steelers rb situation is a mess still, they will probably air it out all day. Without Revis there, they might put up points, leading to a shoot out. With Harrison and Polamalu out, Sanchez might be able to keep up with the shoot out.

Discuss please. Can't decide if I should play Sanchez over Schaub this week.

I'd go with Schaub, and I'm calling week 1 a fluke for the Jets. (really out on a limb there)

I don't know about repeating last weeks numbers but I think the Jets beat the Steelers this week. I'm playing Stephen Hill and the Jets defense this week.

That's why you think the Jets will win.

The Steelers D isn't as good as it's reputation, but neither is the Jets', especially without Revis.

I'd bet on the Steelers in a low-scoring game.

Schaub is the better play this week.

:-k dunno..

Sanchez was the #10 qb last year, a solid QB1. He could be drafted at the end of most drafts and in many cases, free agency. People let him fall through the cracks because of Tebow and whatever..he's a fine FF qb. He'll give you numbers.

I don't think the Steelers have that great of a secondary if it matters. I disagree on a low scoring game, thats what the Steelers want and will try to do but I don't see it happening.

Exactly what I was thinking. I don't see him repeating last weeks numbers that was over the top week 1 stuff, but with Palamalu out I can see him having solid numbers.

Shaub is a better QB, but I can see Houston getting up early and running the ball later limiting his production. Honestly I could go either way on this one. Shaub is a safer play so not being able to decide which is better I'd go with him.

Even with Revis out, Cro has covered Wallace successfully in the past and I think Kyle Wilson will do a decent job on Brown/Sanders. The real advantage will be the Jets D line against that God awful Steeler O line. I expect a ton of pressure on Big Ben and he will wiggle out of some, but there will be a few big plays on defense. I'm not real sure how well they will do offensively, but they've always matched up well with the Steelers in the Rex era (with less talented teams) so I expect a good game on both sides of the ball.

I'm playing the Jets D this week with confidence (slightly less with Revis out).

I'd be more confident in Sanchez if he had Keller, but I expect Kerley to be a big part of this game in his absence. And probably a little more Tebow.

I know the a Steelers would love to feature Dwyer, but this game will show Todd Haley at his best, exploiting the Jets lack of corner depth. I fully expect the Steelers to open the game 3wide. Sanders and Brown will kill the Jets.

On the other side, with no Polumalu- Sanchez should have no fear firing into the secondary and no fear of a bushy haired freak leaping over his offensive linemen. No Jerome Harrison is also a big plus obviously. Shonn Greene is turrible, so my gut says we'll see a bit more Powell and Tebow but this game bucks the trend and turns into a shoot out which gives Sanchez a great chance to duplicate last weeks success.
