Great player but I'd rather not watch an hour of Ray preaching.

They're talking right now about the trial...he didn't kill anyone. You realize it went to trial, and the charges were dropped?

Guy got stabbed. Ray was there. End of story. I've been present when someone has fought someone at a bar but that doesn't make me guilty of assault.

That doesn't prove that he didn't kill anyone. It only proves that they couldn't prove that he did kill someone.

I don't know enough about the trial to have an informed opinion, but just pointing out that not going to jail doesn't make someone innocent.

They had zero evidence that Lewis did it. He wasn't found not guilty; the charges were dismissed.

I never said he was found not guilty. And whether he was or was not it doesn't change anything about what I said. Not going to jail doesn't prove innocents. It doesn't matter if he was found not guilt, the chargers were dropped or he never was arrested at all. All three things happen to guilty people all the time.

There is a really bad habit in this country of assuming our legal system always gets it right. It was never designed to always get it right. It was designed so that when it was wrong it was more likely that a guilty man went free then an innocent man went to jail. Although both do happen.

I'd say the bad habit in this country is folk who admit they know nothing about a case commenting on it anyway, and presuming guilt based solely on an accusation regardless of what happens after.

I never said he was guilty. I even said I don't know enough about the case to have informed opinion one way or the other. My statement wasn't about Ray Lewis' guilt or innocents. It was about the weakness of the evidence you offered.

And my point is i have no proof that that statement isn't true. I may feel it's unlikely, but I really can't deny it either.
