per rotoworld, I just added Barden but with Hixon coming back I don't know what to do. Probable go with Mike Williams. Hopefully Ridley has a big week so I can get something decent back at WR.

Before the Nicks doubtful report came out it was noted that Hixon was still above Barden on the depth chart, they offer completely different games so they probably both have their role and will eat into each other's snaps. If Barden sees a lot of Asomugha he's in for a long night, but I think he matches up favorably with the rest of the Eagles secondary. Tough call for those desparate.

Well, I was hesitant to play Nicks against the Eagles secondary, so this simplifies my lineup somewhat. Get back in there, Dez.

Welll, this simplifies my line up quandry.

Looks like I'm rolling with hawkins who I love. He's not getting many looks, but when he does, he's money so far this year. Not even thinking of playing barden against Namdie(easier to remember). He did great against a weak panther secondary, but namdie alone tells me to stay away.

Don't think Barden will fare nearly as well in this one

How did Nicks go from saying he would have played last week had it been a normal turnaround time for a game to being unable to play this week as well?

A setback at practice?

Whenever a player is injured you have to worry of over compensation injuries. Sounds like that's what this is. He practiced on a bad foot and adjusted his technique to make due with the bad foot and whatever he did caused his knee to balloon.

It happens.

Quote:
Hakeem Nicks is listed as doubtful for Week 4 versus the Eagles after he developed swelling in his knee this week.

Ramses Barden's fantasy value lives on for another week. Nicks is still experiencing pain in his surgical repaired foot, but it appears to be the unexpected knee swelling that is preventing him from playing this week. The Giants aren't tipping their hand on Nicks' replacement. Both Barden and Hixon will play in three-wide sets, with Victor Cruz in the slot. We like Barden over Hixon after the former's breakout game in Week 3. Neither player is a strong WR3 against a stingy Eagles defense.

Jennings and Bowe it is.

How does this affect Cruz value? His production really struggled without Nicks last week.

He'll get more attention for sure, but potential is always there for a big one. Can't justify benching him in just about any scenario. Maybe a keeper owner sitting on Calvin, Julio, and Percy or something.

With this news, I have two wr slots to fill between barden, britt and denarius Moore. I'm guessing moore and Britt?

Does this situation upgrade m. Bennett's numbers?
