I wasn't sure where to put this, didn't think it fit in the sell high/buy low so I made a thread. First lets get the negatives out of the way. He's never finished a full season and his OL so far this season has been LOL worthy, but then you look at the schedule and does it get any better than this?

JAX (2nd in points given up to RB's)
@ KC (10th)
TB (22nd)
@ BAL (13th)
NO (1st)
@ CIN (8th)
CLE (11th)
DEN (15th)
KC (10th)
CAR (7th)

The last 3 bolded are playoff weeks 14 thru 16. I also like that Oakland is starting to get healthier at the WR position and that should at least make things a little easier for the entire offense. This is a RB I'm looking to target in every single league whether it's this week or in the coming weeks. If he has a bad performance in any of the next few games POUNCE on a frustrated owner! His playoff schedule and entire schedule in general is way too good to pass up. I was able to move Stevan Ridley for Darren McFadden before week 6 in one league because the owner was sick of him so those types of owners are out there. Just thought I'd pass this along, do with it what you will, and Happy hunting!

Take advantage of those box score watchers too...McFadden had a couple explosive runs against ATL that were called back due to penalties that didn't appear to have much impact his run (i.e. bad luck).

Of course, the shoulder injury is out there - appears he's been dealing with it for some time and got checked on the sidelines again yesterday.

As an owner, I'm holding as though he's a top-10 RB...would need a pretty sweet offer to give him up.

Denver and KC are division games. Gonna be hard fought battles and both teams know each other. I don't think they are the easiest matchups. Mcfadden is only as good as the raiders are playing...I have Mcfadden in most my leagues because I'm hoping he can put together a healthy season

My man looked pretty good yesterday. It looked like Oakland made some progress with the blocking scheme and they may be moving closer to a breakout like Lynch from last year.

IMO, his main problem will be Oakland's continued penalties. 2 big gains were called back due to penalties this week, which has happened to every talented RB the Raiders have had since Marcus Allen.

If you've got room and your leagues McFadden owner hasn't rostered Mike Goodson now might be the time to pick him up. You could end up inheriting that playoff schedule.

Would it be a bad move or good move for me to offer up Peterson/Ridley for McFadden?

I'd be concerned if it seems that his schedule is so good but you are ready to pounce of he has a bad game. Wouldn't a bad game here suggest that maybe the easier schedule for an RB isn't enough?

So glad I traded Murray for McFadden straight up 2 weeks ago.

I traded for DMC him in both of my leagues and Mathews in one. All the AFC West teams seem to have some pretty easy sledding come playoff time it seems... been trying to make room for Draughn and Hillman for that reason as well. JCharles would be on my radar too, but pretty high asking price for him atm. :Drink) here's to ours and his health. :D

Chris Frackin Johnson disagrees.
