In my standard league $42 was the winning bid. $35 was the 2nd place bid.

In my PPR league, the waiver #2 priority team got Rashad.

Wow!! In my league it's a $100 FAAB budget for the whole season. And in this league you can't trade players for FAAB dollars.

Anybody else in a league where you can't make trades involving FAAB dollars?

Also, every waiver transaction has a price. No free adds/drops. I'm down to $20 for the rest of the season. There are 2-3 owners who have less than $10 left. And there are some owners who still have $80-90 left in their FAAB budget.

Wow. I only have $20 left in my budget. I figure I should set aside $10 for the playoff weeks 14-16 so that really only leaves me $10 for weeks 8-13.

Don't ask me how I figured on saving $10 for the playoff weeks (which is a big IF given that I'm 3-4).

Does anyone have a rule of thumb about how much budget to allocate for the playoff weeks?

Similar in my league. Rashad went for 25% Randall Cobb went (again) for 26%, as did LSH. Of course, a few weeks ago Jackie Battle went for 45% and Hartline went for 62%.

How am I losing to these guys? :F

In one league I had the 4th pick and he slid down to me! In another he went with the second WW selection.

In my standard league Ryan Williams went for 52% and then he promptly suffered a season-ending injury in his debut game as clear-cut starter.

But the backstory is even funnier. The owner of Ryan Williams dropped him on Wednesday. Realized his mistake in horror, and then bid $52 to win him back on Friday morning's auction processing. The second-place bid was $40. And then Ryan Williams's season ends that weekend.

You just never know. The guy that lost out on his $40 bid for Ryan Williams was so happy that he lost.

I have been in two leagues now for three years that use this style of auctioning and after having 50+ bidding bucks left after each season in both leagues I changed my ways. The last two years I wasted my time waiting on that big addition hoping to get someone late and it never panned out. So this year I made it my goal to spend all of my bucks by seasons end so going into last week I had 3 and 1 dollar left because I went hard after Green and LSH. and Antinio Brown earlier this season. The sad thing is I cut LSH after to me it was clear Powell was the man and also the cards backs would be useless since they did nothing vs the Bills sorry D. Of course I was wrong LSH blew up and this week and someone got him for 20. Jennings went for 35 and we start with 100 bucks.

I think also part of the reason I spent my money so fast is injuries have killed me this year and my teams are struggling the two years prior my teams were doing well and cruised to the playoffs.

Deadline is tonight at 11:00 EDT.

I'll be bidding 21% but will probably not get him. I'm only doing it to block the MJD owner, who has 20% remaining.

If by chance I end up with him, I'll trade him for whatever I can get.
