So I just locked into my 3rd tie in eight weeks in one of my leagues...

I don't even want to know the odds of that happening that frequently; my previous high for an entire season was one lol.

Amazing. :Drink)

Anyone ever have a similar type of season? I'm hoping this is the first and last year I have one like this, but at least I guess it beats an "L" lol.

Actually, I should probably bite my tongue - I'll come into a stat adjustment on Tuesday or Wednesday and wish I still had the tie.

That's why we use decimal scoring. So much better when every yard counts.

D'dang. Bring back the decimal points.

I'm getting kinda tired of having guys have 39 yards rushing and 39 receiving and only getting 6 points... or whatever. Couple of guys had a tie in my league a couple weeks back, had neither party too chipper about it. Seemed like leagues counted more precisely before. I suppose it just depends on the league.

Bench points is a tiebreaker in our league. I can't remember the last tie.

Scoring:

Rush/Rcv TD=6pts
50 yds rush = 2 pts .. 100yds=6 +2/25y
50 yds rcv = 2 pts .. 80=6 +1/10y

Pass TD=4pts, INT=-0
200 yds pass = 2 pts + 1/25yd

FG: 0-34yds=3pts .. 50+=5pts

DEF: TO/Sack=1pt TD=6 S=2
Bonus low yds/pts (up to 6 each)

Yeah, decimals would be a nice suggestion next season. It's typically not an issue like this though lol.

I should probably just be grateful though considering the only person who really did anything for me in that league this week was D Martin. =D>

Decimals are a must, and never liked bench points as a tie breaker. I think Superteam is a more legit way to break it. Just take the #1 scoring starter from each position and total points wins.

So the team with the most QBs on the roster wins?

The chances of having a tie using decimal scoring are about the same as winning the Powerball jackpot.

There is no good reason to have a tie in FF.

I'd rather tie than lose by .01 points...

...which has happened to me before.

No fractional points in my leagues!

i agree...losing by .01 would sting...im in 3 leagues...2 dont use fractional points and havent for years...every other year it seems a tie happens which isnt enough to really cause concern...the odds of having 3 ties in a season must be astronomical...

Losing by .01 is just as unlikely as a tie.

Why don't you guys go home and make out with your sisters?

Isn't it the same as losing by a full point because one of your players had x9 yards?
